Congratulations to our new Eagle Scouts
Troop 14 Eagle Scouts Jamie, Benny, Ben, and Alex
Welcome to Troop 14
We meet at Albany Veteran’s Memorial Hall on Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:00pm throughout the school year, and less formally during the summer. From camping to service projects, to community dinners, we have many great troop activities every year. If your son or daughter is interested in learning more about scouting or our Troop, please come to a meeting, or contact us.

A recent bill was passed by the State of California requiring volunteers and staff of Youth Service Organizations (e.g. Scout units, church groups, and sports teams) to complete training in child abuse and neglect reporting, and undergo Live Scan background checks.
AB 506 goes into effect on January 1, 2022. All registered BSA volunteer positions and employees including camp staff must comply with AB506. In addition, other volunteers who are 18 years of age or older and who have direct contact with, or supervision of, children for more than 16 hours a month or 32 hours per year must complete a Live Scan background check (the digital version of inked fingerprinting) and complete online mandated reporter training.
Mandated Reporter Training from the State of California (complete before February 28, 2022)
Live Scan background check (coming soon)
Mandated Reporter Training is required in addition to our BSA Youth Protection Training. Volunteer leaders must complete the 2 hour training and upload your certificate at California Scouting by February 28, 2022. Follow AB506 Volunteer Process link below.
NOTE: When upload your certificate use the following DATE format: YYYY-MM-DD
